Hello PeeWee A Parents – In an effort to streamline the dinners for your boys on Monday evenings. We have decided to assign a night for each family to provide dinner for the team. These dinners are so important for our boys and to the coaching staff. Coach Joe uses the dinner time to show film, discuss the previous games, discuss practice goals, and a lot, lot more! Not to mention that the ‘off-ice team building time ’ is invaluable.
Just like in soccer when the families are assigned a snack duty day – you will instead be assigned a dinner duty evening. This dinner can be homemade, store bought or delivered to the team. Let your boys be involved with the decision making on what to provide – and have them help out with the efforts of doing this if possible.
Below are the guidelines for the dinner:
1. Please provide enough food for the entire team – 16 players, 4 coaches + occasional guests – such as Aaron.
2. Food must be healthy. Include a lean protein, veggie or fruit with the dinner.
3. Dinner must arrive at NOCO no later than 5:30 on Monday.
4. Please provide drinks to go along with the dinner – NO SODA
5. Please provide plates, napkins and any other eating or serving utensils needed.
6. If for some reason we do not have Perform-X, we have no ice or are traveling to tournament on the date that is assigned to you, you will be assigned another day.
