Things to Know Before Starting Classes:

When Fitting your skates make sure that your toes can wiggle (just a little) but your heel does not slide up and down or around, once your foot is properly laced in the skate.

Protective head gear is recommended for children under the age of 6 and all beginner skaters.

Remember gloves or mittens! Learning to fall is an important part of ice skating and it makes the hands feels much better if they are wearing gloves or mttens.

Our Basic Skills program will help you learn all the fundamentals of figure skating and hockey. Our program is fun, challenging, and rewarding. 

US Figure Skating Basic Skills program teamed up with USA Hockey presents the most well known and organized program offered in the United States. The class curriculm is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they start lessons until the time they reach their goals. Whether your goal is to achieve Olympic fame, become a professional Hockey player, or simply enjoy the recreational benefits of skating. Basic Skills is for you!
